Transportation Department

The mission of the Transportation Department is to provide for the safe, timely and efficient transportation of students in support of Fort Worth ISD curricular and extra-curricular programs.

Bus Route Information:

Fort Worth ISD students are eligible to ride if they live 2 or more miles away from their home school, or if they are enrolled in Special Interest Programs (SIP), applied learning schools, special education, or career and technology programs.

The new bus schedules will be available at individual school offices beginning August 12. Parents are encouraged to drop by and pick one up. Due to security reasons, the District does not post schedules online.

The Fort Worth ISD Transportation Department invites students and parents to participate in a practice run on August 22. Buses will run that morning on the same time schedule as a regular school day.
