Dunbar Area Community School

The Dunbar Area Community (DACS) School exists under the philosophy that advocates the creation of opportunities for community members — individuals, schools, businesses, and public and private organizations — to become partners in addressing community needs. The Dunbar Area Community School operating under the community education concept is a program/facility that is open beyond the traditional school day for the purpose of providing academic, recreation, health, social service, and work-preparation programs for people of all ages.

Registration Dates:

  • August 25, 2008 (Summer Session)
  • October 20, 2008 (Fall Session)
  • January 12, 2009 (Winter Session)
  • March 30, 2009 (Spring Session)

Schedule of Classes for business, education, certified nurse assistant, exercise/recreation, cosmetology, technical/vocational courses.

History of Dunbar Area Community School

All students must have an I.D. Card for security purposes. It's a one time fee of $3.00
