Capital Improvement Program

Walter DansbyIn November 2007, voters approved a $593.6 million Bond Referendum, including $551.9 million to be used for construction of new schools, additions, and renovations to existing schools and athletic facilities.

This website is intended to serve the Fort Worth community and keep the public informed throughout all phases of project development: planning, design, procurement, construction, and post-construction phases. It also provides valuable information to the design and construction industry regarding
vendor opportunities and HUB participation.

The Capital Improvement Program Office, the Program Manager, and multiple consultants and contractors under contract for the CIP, are committed to a first class program, safely built state-of-the-art facilities, built on time and on budget. We are also committed to operational efficiency, transparency, and sustainable design practices.

Please check back often for updates including news, schedule updates, and progress photographs.

Thank you for your support as we are “Building the Vision” in Fort Worth ISD!
